MRC member Lisa Munson recently competed at the USPSA Single Stack Nationals, held May 1st through May 3rd in Barry, Illinois. Lisa did pretty well: she won the 2009 Ladies National Championship!

The match was specific to using a 1911 government model pistol. She competed against many of the nation’s top women shooters, including Julie (Goloski) Golob and Kay Clark Miculek, both of Team S&W and Kippi Leatham of Team Springfield Armory. Lisa won by the margin of 6 points, edging out Kippi Leatham to defend her 2008 title.

Lisa will be competing this September in Las Vegas at the USPSA Open National Championship, and Limited National Championship.
