The Marysville Junior Rifle Program is open to juniors from 10 years old to 21 years old. The three most important things are safety, safety and safety. Beyond that, primary instruction is in the three postions: prone, kneeling and standing, with a little sitting thrown in. All shooting is done indoors with single shot .22 cal target rifles.

Practice is held most every Tuesday night starting at 7:00 PM and ending around 9:00 PM. We are affiliated with the local 4-H club. The 4-H club matches are held once per month January through April.

As with many sports, shooting is an Olympic event
